1. Who we are and what the Service is

AI Universe City ("the city", "we", "us") is an online learning community operated by Global AI Workforce ("GAW"), a company registered in the United States. The Service includes our websites (aiuniversecity.uk, aiuniversecity.uk/school and related pages), the community forum, the Moodle campus and lessons, the Live Labs video rooms, our mobile and desktop applications, and any materials or tools we make available to members.

The Service is a community and educational platform. It is not an employer, a placement agency, a certification authority, an investment adviser, or a professional services provider, unless we expressly agree with you in writing. Membership buys access to the community and its materials; it does not create any employment, business or partnership relationship between you and us.

2. AI assistants, transparency and no guarantees

This is the clause we most want you to read. The city is taught and supported by AI assistants, with human oversight, by design. AI assistants answer questions, review lesson work, and assist in live sessions; human staff set direction, handle moderation and escalations, and remain accountable for the operation of the community.

What that means for you, practically: outputs generated by AI are informational and educational. They are not legal, medical, financial, tax or other professional advice, and they can contain errors. Verify anything important before you rely on it, act on it, ship it, or file it. Where a decision has real-world consequences, get qualified professional advice.

We make no promise of outcomes. We do not guarantee earnings, employment, promotions, business results, exam outcomes or any other result from using the Service, and no member's testimonial or success story should be read as a prediction of your experience. We do not issue accredited professional certifications, and any badge or completion marker in the city is a community record of participation, not a qualification recognised by any external body unless we say so in writing.

3. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter a contract in your jurisdiction. By registering you confirm both.
  • One account per person. Do not share credentials, transfer accounts, or let others use your access. You are responsible for activity under your account; tell us promptly at the contact below if you believe it is compromised.
  • Registration details must be accurate. Some rooms or features require a paid plan; access follows your current plan and any applicable rules we publish.
  • Use of the Service must comply with all applicable laws where you are located.

4. Your licence and what it is not

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own learning, during your membership. Except as expressly stated here, nothing in these terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property. You may not resell, sublicense, rent, scrape, mirror, frame, automate bulk access to, or commercially exploit any part of the Service, including using our lessons, prompts, datasets or materials to train or build a competing product.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for unlawful, deceptive or fraudulent purposes; (b) upload malware, attempt unauthorised access, or probe, scan or test vulnerabilities without our written permission; (c) overload or disrupt the Service, including abusive API or tool usage; (d) circumvent access controls, plan gates, or moderation actions; (e) misuse AI features to generate unlawful, hateful, harassing, or explicitly sexual content, to infringe others' rights, or to create content designed to deceive people about its origin; (f) collect other members' personal data without consent, including scraping profiles; (g) impersonate any person or entity, including presenting AI-generated statements as human-authored where that misleads; or (h) use the Service's branding or name in a way that implies endorsement you do not have.

We use automated moderation and AI assistants to help detect abuse. We keep a human in the loop for enforcement decisions.

6. Community conduct

The city is a public learning space; assume your conduct and posts are visible to members and, for public pages, the world. We do not tolerate harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, spam, self-promotion outside the designated spaces, or sustained disruption of discussions. The full moderation policy lives in the community handbook; the staff and our moderators apply it with discretion, and moderators' decisions stand unless reversed by a human staff member after review. Members in good standing may appeal any moderation action through the contact below, and we will respond substantively.

7. Your content and ours

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, modify (for formatting, excerpting, or search indexing) and distribute your content within the Service and in its promotion (for example, a member win featured on our homepage). You represent that you hold the rights you grant and that your content is lawful.

You are solely responsible for what you post. Do not post confidential information, third-party code or media you have no right to share, or personal data about other people without consent.

All lessons, materials, designs, software and branding we provide are our property or our licensors'. When your membership ends, the licence to access them ends with it; content you authored stays yours, but you may need to export it before your account is closed. We may retain backups and cached copies of posts for a period after deletion as systems require.

8. Membership, payments and refunds

  • Plans. AI Foundations is free. AI Operators and AI Builders are recurring subscriptions billed by PayPal at the price shown at checkout. AI Entrepreneurs is a single, one-time payment for lifetime access on the terms published at purchase. Prices may change for new or future members; your price does not change while your subscription stays continuously active. Founding-tier promises made at purchase (such as "never raises" where offered) are binding as described at that checkout.
  • Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime through PayPal or by asking us; cancellation stops the next charge, and access continues to the end of the paid period. We do not pro-rate cancellations mid-period.
  • Refunds. First-time subscribers may request a full refund within 14 days of the first payment, before significant use of member-only materials, by contacting the staff desk; we decide reasonable requests in good favour. Lifetime plans may be refunded within 14 days of purchase on the same basis. After those windows, fees are non-refundable except where consumer law requires otherwise. Access for members who breach these terms can be terminated without refund, except where the law requires a pro-rata refund.
  • Taxes. Where applicable, you are responsible for any sales, VAT or similar taxes not included at checkout.
  • Free trials and promos. Where offered, trial or promo access may be conditioned on later purchase or withdrawn at any time, and features included in a trial may change.

9. Changes to the Service and the Terms

We update lessons, tools and platform features continuously; some may be renamed, consolidated or retired. We will not fundamentally remove a feature that was central to what you purchased without offering a reasonable alternative or, at our discretion, a refund. We may update these Terms for legal reasons or to reflect real changes; material changes are announced in the community and via the site, and we ask members to confirm acceptance where the law requires it. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Suspension and termination

We may warn, moderate, suspend, restrict or terminate accounts and access for breach of these Terms, protection of the community or our Service (including fraud or chargeback patterns), or where required by law. We can also discontinue or evolve the Service overall; if we shut the community down entirely, we will give reasonable notice and offer refunds for prepaid, unused periods where we can.

11. Third parties and affiliate links

The Service links to third-party sites, tools and stores, and some blog and lesson content contains affiliate links (including Amazon Associates links). Where a page earns commission from a qualifying purchase, it is disclosed on that page. We control neither the third parties nor their content; your dealings with them are at your own risk and between you and them, and third-party terms may apply.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service is uninterrupted or error-free, that AI outputs are accurate, or that any specific outcome will result. AI assistants can and do make mistakes; human review reduces this risk but cannot eliminate it, and you remain responsible for how you use what you learn here.

13. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the total fees you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) 100 US dollars. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or personal injury caused by our negligence.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Global AI Workforce, its affiliates, officers and staff from claims, damages and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of any third party's rights or applicable law.

15. Privacy and data

We process personal data as described in our privacy notice, on lawful bases: providing the Service, your consent where required, legitimate interest in operating a secure community, and legal compliance. We do not sell your personal data. You may request access, correction, export or deletion of your data by contacting us, subject to records we must keep by law and to the reasonable need to preserve community integrity and prevent abuse.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflicts-of-law rules. The courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except that either party may pursue small claims in the other's local courts where permitted. Before litigating, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution by written correspondence for 30 days. If any clause is held unenforceable, the rest survive and the clause is read as closely to its intent as the law allows. No delay by us is a waiver of any right.

17. Contact

Questions about these Terms, moderation decisions, refunds or data: use the contact desk, or write to the staff via the community Site Feedback room. A human reads every message.

This document is adapted from widely used community-platform standards and tailored to how AI Universe City actually operates: AI assistants in the open, humans in charge, no promises of outcomes, and a clear path home for members who are unhappy.
